Anonymous asked: Tips for keeping up stamina when you have to do a ton of work? It's nearing the end of the quarter for me and I have a lot of extra studying and reading to do, etc.... I'm already exhausted from school and really really want to go to sleep when I get home. What do you do when you feel like this? Please help!!
Well for me personally I have a medical issue that can cause me to be very tired some of the time. If that applies to you, do take care of yourself!
Otherwise I make a cup of tea or a pot of coffee and I sit in a well lit room with few distractions and the music I normally listen to while studying (Islands - Ludovico Einaudi) and just try to get some work done using the pomodoro technique.

Just try to remain calm, get some sleep, and maybe do some quick overviews if you can.
The most important thing is to stay calm, the second is to get some sleep!

For all you guys who like to make flashcards when you’re studying or learning lines, I just wanted to recommend the website Quizlet. It’s a fucking godsend. You can type up all your flashcards on the computer, and then download the app for your phone and you’ll have them wherever you go. It saves SO much time and it’s free.
A good complementary app to quizlet is Flashcards Deluxe.
It’s not free (there is a lite version though) but is hands down the best flashcards app I’ve ever used.
Quizlet uses quite basic methods for studying the information, whereas with this app you can use the leitner method, spaced repetition etc. it’s honestly just amazing. It’s a jam packed app though so it takes a while to get used to it but you can download your sets from quizlet within the app.
What I do is make my sets on quizlet so I can access them from a computer if I’m ever somewhere without my phone, and then download them to this app for every day studying.
